The Accounting and Taxation Department prepares students for careers & in the fields of accounting, taxation and a host of other professional business &managerial positions or for graduate study.

The curriculum is designed and provided instruction in accounting theory,taxes, cost, measurement and budgeting issues, auditing, financial reporting requirements and systems that helps the student to prepare for Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Bookeeper, and other related business examinations.

Students have opportunities for internships at the CPA firms, national taxation department, and other private company.

It is common for students in the program to have offers of full-time employment even before graduating.

Alumni of this program can be found in positions of leadership at major accounting, taxation and business services firms.
